Most wedding photography falls into one of two categories. Traditional photography consists of a lot of posed photographs, sometimes disguised as spontaneous. At the end of the day all those set up images can take over the event.
Contemporary photography, sometimes referred to as reportage, places the emphasis on capturing the events and emotions of the day, with as little interference from the photographer as possible.
Formally trained and with a background in press photography we offer a service where those important family groups are carefully planned and confined to a short twenty to forty minute session, usually during the drinks reception.
The rest of your day is allowed to unfold naturally, while it is recorded in an unobtrusive manner. Like all story tellers some photographers are better at anticipating how events will unfold than others.
As with everything in life you pay for what you get when it comes to photography. Our policy is to find out as much as we can about your event and your expectations and requirements. We will then quote you for everything you require, so there are no nasty surprises after the event.
If you have set a budget for photography then we will do our best to offer you a package that meets your needs within those constraints.
